"Life is a Series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't; You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted."

"Sometimes when you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel. And if you are ever going to have other people trust you, you must feel that you can trust them, too - even when you're in the dark. Even when you're falling."

"A teacher affects infinity; he can never tell where his influence stops."

"Everyone knows they're going to die, but nobody believes it. If we did, we would do things differently. That way, you can actually be more involved in your life while you're living."

"Most of us all walk around as if we're sleepwalking. WE really don't experience the world fully, because we're half-asleep, doing things we automatically think we have to do; therefore facing the inevitable death changes all that; when you learn how to die, you learn how to live."

The above are a few lines i quoted from the book ,tuesdays with morrie by mitch albom that I find very simple yet meaningful. As pleased and grateful i am to finally sit down and managed to appreciate the book...it's much of a blessing that i ever knew such a book existed... a real touching carving of his old professor by mitch...it's a non-fiction book about mitch, the author's last few lessons with his professor who suffered a fatal illness...lessons about life...things that we never thought of in our life...things that the great old man could portray with such clarity... a great bereavement that Mitch had suffered to lose someone of so much importance...who has mould him into what he is today...real good book...now i am really looking forward to reading another great piece of work from Mitch Albom--> the five people you meet in heaven....but this a fiction, not so much as a life guidance...
Watched the movie Geisha today...finaaallly....but the pirated version...as my friends have all seen the movie...could't get anyone to see it with me....was practically baffled through the whole movie...with wrong misleading sub-titles( you don't expect much from pirated version i guess..) more than half of the time i couldn't understand what they are talking...too heavily-japanese-slanged-english ... i give up straining my ears to get what they were saying and try to guess purely by the expressions...ended up blur when the movie ends....haizz.....was totally not enjoyable...so people...dont' buy pirated dvd's...hahha....
College started this week....and it wasn't really good for me as my physical condition was kinda bad the whole week...very weak....was even considering not going to classes....guess it's due to the over indulgence during chinese new year celebration....haha... the new syllabus is quite ok... further maths's gettin more interesting...we have to imagine numbers that don't even exist now...statistics is also getting more interesting...more probabilities...no more tedious graphs to draw...but econs remain the worse subject....we are now doing the the last two units instead of the middle one as external exams for the last two units are only offered in June... therefore the subject's gettin way too tough for me.... the lecturer even says that we have to start reading magazines like the economists...DIE!!.....now that i can't hope that my first few units to pull up my grade as they are equally bad...just cross my fingers that i would just pass...hahah....
It's Chap Goh Mei this Sunday...and it marks the end of the Chinese New year celebration...sad...but gonna enjoy myself to the fullest this sunday...gonna see some lion dance performances at petaling street...as usual....and meeting some friends....just hope i don't enjoy too much again...or i shall have an ominous long week waiting for me next week....
