woW..it's already the fifth day of Chinese New Year....time really does fly when you are happily indulging in stuffs you enjoy....this year's celebration has been quite typically quotidiant...went for prayers..lion dancing...visitin relatives...relatives visiting...really have not seen them for ages...all busy with their life...cousins are mostly working people..and thus inevitably creating an age gap ... all Had metamorphose into more mature beings.. even serious talks came down to serious solemnity... miss those times when we used to shout to each other in real high tunes .. chasing after each other around the house.. greedily getting grasp of the food before the waiter even placed the dishes on the table...which will then earn our parents rants and raves..haha...notorious creatures...
watched fearless the other day... it was generally very good...and like all other jet li's movie...the theme doesn't run away from patrotism..family... respects...it really portrays the cultures which has been long forgotten by many... like the movie fang si yu...jet li manage to include some sense of humour...but this is not so funny...the former was more of a classic.. the ending part of fearless was quite touching...think the last fight of his will earn some tears...
managed to read a book in mph before the movie...a very short yet very meaningful book...it's called "who moved my cheese"...it's a very simple story which may seem or mean nothing to some people.. but if you really try to figure out the meaning behind the simplicity ..you will definitely gain something... it generally showcases people's stubborness to accept changes when they are perfectly comfortable with their current situation and life...or so it may seem to them...and any changes, to them ...will only signal catastrophic ending to the the success and happiness they've worked so hard for... they only consider the negative things which follow the new practices...but make no effort to figure out the good new things they might be able to enjoy..even mice's simple and low cognitive level will bring them to more success as compared to human... accepting new changes and taking up challenges will bring you more cheese..which perhaps taste better than the before ones.. a very good book i must say....
college's starting next week...gonna be quite hectic...with a shorter term..and more difficult syllabus to cover...will really have to cross fingers for things to work smooth and fine... chaOzz
