Quite some time has elapsed since i last blogged...so basically what i have in mind during this period of time to be written down might have put on a disappearing act when i try to recollect them...this week has not been quite a quotidiant one....with three mocks on three consecutive days...but it wasn't too bad as they are not economics-related...not so 'wordy-based'... anything numerical is always better....but the fact that the monday after next week-->15-05-2006 will be marking the start of my second external exam in a-levels' is quite intimidating...first paper would be accounting and last paper will be economics which is on the 26 of June....so basically the externals this time stretch right up to almost six weeks...with all the papers quite loosely dispersed...so i am quite satisfied with the timetable...will have enough time for last minute preparing all...but then again...six weeks seemed a wee bit too long...things can never ever be too perfect i guess? and yesterday 's 1.02 am was the century event of 010203040506...which represents the time 01:02:03 on the 4th of May 2006....gathered with some friends...played some games in the middle of the night...was fun...will be something sweet to reminisce about next time....these are just those times that might not seem special at that moment but when you recalled it next time, you will simply smile in quiet nostalgia...thinking those were the times that you wished to go back to ...when those friends are no longer somewhere near you...when we continue with our longer journey in life ..which will inevitably lead to long goodbyes as you will hardly see them again ...these are just those precious moments.... thinking about this just somehow makes me appreciate every moment i spend with my friends now more and more...
Thomas cup 'fever' started last week itself....couldn't really update myself with the results all... and the first thing i did when i reached home today was to check the results and see the live semi-finals...missed the first semi finals between china and indonesia which started at 12 pm today malaysia time...managed to catch up on the semi-finals between fellow malaysians and the danes though i missed the first men singles...was very proud of both our mens doubles...they were simply superb and their fighting spirit was impressive and daunting...salute to them...the first mens doubles must be one of the best doubles i have seen so far...both side played a high quality game....singles on the other hand were very disspointing...hafiz hashim's unforced errors are just "countably infinite"...a term in statistics which means that his errors were to no end but can be simply numbered....really not up to par...and with the veteran wong choong hann resigning due to a ruptured achilles tendon during quater finals, kuan beng hong was the third man singles player to play the crucial role of qualifying malaysia to finals after a 2-2 tie....but he was like...just so DISPIRITED...don't think he's even tryin his best....after all his fellow team mates struggling.....this is so DISPIRITING man....but then again, he might have tried his best....haiz...
below are the semi finals results:-

CHINA VS INDONESIA (3-0)
Lindan bt Taufik Hidayat 21-16, 21-8
Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun bt Alven Yulianto/Luluk Hadiyanto 24-22, 21-17
Bao Chun Lai bt Sony Dwikuncoro 21-17, 24-22

MALAYSIA VS DENMARK (3-2)
Peter Gade bt Lee Chong Wei 21-19, 21-18
Chang Chong Ming/ Koo Kean Keat bt Martin Lundgaard/Jens Eriksen 21-17, 30-28, 6-21
Kenneth Jonassen bt Muhd Hafiz Hashim 20-22, 21-12, 21-17
Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah bt Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen 21-13, 15-21, 21-19
Persson Joachim bt Kuan Beng Hong 21-12, 21-19

and one thing, i seriously don't like the new scoring system.. it's just doesn't make sense that even when the player doesn't get the service he gets to score...makes the excitement much less intense now...really hope they will change the system soon...still 15pts the best....
looking forward to finals now...can't wait to see it....but have to study hard before that so i can really enjoy watching it...must make sure this weekend will be a productive one...will study accounting basically, touch a bit of vectors and perhaps a little of economics(depressing econs!)...
talking about econs...the lecturer's really gettin on my nerves...so irresponsible..she'll just talk and talk but not writting the answers down on board...the problem is that she USED to write down the answers...and now...after she has finished explaining, when we all expect her to do what she used to do, she will just go straight on to the next section, leaving us all blank like kiddos in kindergarden....will really have to join the other group of econ class...seriously think their lecturer's much better...giving extra classes which total up to 26 hours...seriously need that...and it's after my accounting paper...so it will be a perfect last minute brush up for me....
DEAR sister and brother are coming back soon!! can't wait to see them...miss them so much....
it'll be long till my next blogging...but will try to post the Thomas Cup finals results ;p
till then,
au revoir~~
